Promotions

The offers the agent brings up on its own — announcements, buy-more-save and bundles, with their discounts, their schedule and their linked products.

A promotion is an offer the agent mentions without being asked. You write it once in the AI Center, and from then on it turns up in conversations at the moment it is relevant — when a customer hesitates on a price, asks what is included, or is about to order a single unit of something you would rather sell in threes.

Promotions live on the General Information tab, in the Active promotions card. The card states its own job: Agent mentions these proactively to boost conversions.

The Active promotions card in an e-commerce workspace: the quick-add presets, and the empty state that invites you to start from scratch.

Create a promotion

The card offers two routes. Quick add starts from a preset, already filled in and ready to edit. Start from scratch opens the same dialog empty.

The presets depend on your business mode. An e-commerce workspace offers Buy more, save, Bundle & save, Flash sale, Seasonal, Free shipping and Custom. A services workspace offers Flash sale, Seasonal, New client and Custom.

Either way you land in the New promotion dialog, which explains what it is for: Your AI agent will mention active promotions — and any linked products — to customers automatically.

The three kinds

In an e-commerce workspace the dialog opens on three types, and the one you pick decides which fields you get.

TypeWhat the dialog saysWhat it does
AnnouncementA message the assistant mentions.Carries an offer in words alone. There is no discount field — the agent says what you wrote, and your store applies whatever pricing you already set up.
Buy more, saveDiscount for buying enough of one product. The classic upsell. Set a minimum quantity of a single product and the discount that unlocks at that quantity.
Bundle & saveDiscount for buying these together.A discount that applies only when the customer takes every product in the set.
The Announcement type: a promotion message, optional linked products, the Active toggle and an optional schedule. There is no discount field.
Buy more, save: one product, a minimum quantity, and a discount in percent or in your currency.
Bundle & save: the set of products the customer has to buy together, and the discount that unlocks.

What every promotion has

Three fields are common to all three types.

FieldNotes
Promotion messageWhat the agent says. The hint under the field is exact: The assistant says this in chat, and it names the discount in your store. Write it the way you would say it to a customer.
ActiveAvailable to the agent. Off keeps the promotion without offering it — the clean way to park a seasonal offer until next year.
Schedule (optional)Starts and Ends. Leave both empty and the promotion runs until you switch it off.

Products, quantity and discount

Buy more, save asks for one product, and is blunt about which one: Pick the exact item customers will order — the size or colour, not the parent product. Then a Minimum quantity and a Discount, which you express either as a percentage or as a fixed amount in your currency.

Bundle & save asks for the set instead: The customer has to buy all of these together to earn the discount. One discount covers the whole bundle.

Both refuse a discount of zero — the dialog answers with Enter a discount greater than zero.

Announcement has Linked products instead, and it is optional. The hint explains why you would bother: Link the products this offer applies to so the agent and win-back reminders can recommend them. Linking is what lets a follow-up reach for the right product later, rather than sending a generic nudge.

When two offers match

Both discount types carry Combine with other offers. Off — the default — means this is the only offer applied when several match. On lets the promotion stack with another.

Promotions in Services mode

A workspace set to Services & reservations has no product catalogue, so it has no product-based promotions. The New promotion dialog drops the three type tabs entirely and keeps the message, the Active toggle and the optional schedule.

The New promotion dialog in a Services workspace: no type tabs, just a message, the Active toggle and an optional schedule.

That is the whole feature in Services mode, and it is enough for what service businesses actually run: a first-visit offer, a quiet-season discount, a package price mentioned when someone asks what a treatment costs.

FAQ and troubleshooting

The agent never mentions my promotion

Check Active first — a promotion saved with the toggle off is stored but never offered. Then check the schedule: an end date in the past retires the promotion silently.

Where is the discount field on Announcement?

There isn't one. Announcement carries a message and optional linked products. Use Buy more, save or Bundle & save when a discount has to be applied.

Why can I only see one promotion type?

Your workspace is in Services mode. The three types are e-commerce only, because two of them discount products and a services workspace has none. See Services mode overview.

Two of my promotions could apply to the same order

The one with Combine with other offers switched off wins alone. If both allow combining, both apply. Decide which behaviour you want before you launch a second overlapping offer.

No, it is optional. Link them when you want follow-ups to recommend those products by name later.

What's next?

You have told the agent what to offer. Now decide how it speaks.
