First week checklist
What to check once real conversations start arriving — read the transcripts, close the agent's gaps, turn on follow-ups, and watch your credits.
Setup gets your agent live. The first week is what makes it good. These are the five habits worth forming while the volume is still small enough to read everything.
Read ten real conversations
Open the inbox and read about ten complete exchanges end to end. You are looking for answers that are wrong, awkward, or off-brand.
When you find one, flag the message and fix the cause in the AI Center — a policy, a product detail, or a rule in Always do and Never do.
Filter tickets on AI Limitation
Every ticket in the AI Limitation category is your agent saying what it did not know. Filter on it in Support, read the recent ones, and fill each gap.
Turn on follow-ups
Enable Follow-ups and set the silence delay — around 20 hours works well. This recovers customers who went quiet without any further effort from you.
Check your credit consumption
Open Settings, then Usage. Compare the average credits per order against your plan's credit price: that is the real acquisition cost of a sale. See Credits and billing.
Watching this in week one means you are never surprised by a depleted balance later.
Tag your best customers
From the contact record beside a conversation, tag customers as vip, loyal or wholesale. These tags are what you target later in campaigns, and they take a second to add while the conversation is in front of you.
Stepping up a gear
Once the week is settled, three things unlock the growth features:
- Connect WhatsApp Business Platform, if you have not — it is the only channel that supports campaigns.
- Check your approved WhatsApp templates and your daily sending limit.
- Run a first Product Offer campaign on a small audience, and read the delivery, open and conversion rates before widening it.
FAQ and troubleshooting
The agent keeps escalating the same kind of question
That is exactly what the AI Limitation filter surfaces. The answer is missing from its configuration — add it as a policy, a knowledge document, or an instruction.
How many conversations should I read?
Ten is enough to spot a pattern. You are looking for repeated problems, not individual mistakes.
My credits are dropping faster than expected
Check the average credits per conversation in Usage. Long conversations cost more, and Live Test runs count too.
What's next?
Reach out to customers instead of waiting for them.
